Alante Financial has introduced low-cost health insurance products for remittance recipients in Latin America through a partnership with INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION (IOM) and LA EMPRESA PROMOTORA DE SERVICIOS DE SALUD, S.A. (EPSS), a major health care provider in Guatemala. It is an integral part of Alante Financialfs effort to offer affordable and professional financial services at the both the sending and receiving end of the remittance chain. The service enables immigrants in the US to purchase health insurance policy for their family members in Guatemala. The service will soon be extended to El Salvador as well.

The program coordinated with IOM, a leading multilateral organization in the field of migration, aims to make access to basic health care services available for low-income immigrant families.
