MFIC Appoints Elizabeth McQuerry Senior Vice President of Business Development
Washington, D.C. – Microfinance International Corporation (MFIC), an innovative financial services company, announced its appointment today of Elizabeth McQuerry as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In her new position, McQuerry will be responsible for developing new products and promoting ARIAS, MFIC’s money transfer solution, to banks and credit unions within the U.S. and abroad. McQuerry brings extensive experience and knowledge of the payment industry, which she garnered during her tenure at the Federal Reserve Bank, to her new position. As Assistant Vice President in the Retail Payments Office, McQuerry was responsible for developing FedGlobal® ACH Payments, the Federal Reserve’s suite of cross-border payments. Her duties encompassed identifying strategic partnerships for global payment processing and developing new products and services that meet the needs of financial institutions. In her role at the Federal Reserve’s Retail Payments office, McQuerry collaborated with industry leaders to foster cross-border ACH. This included supporting the creation of the International Payments Framework Association, a global effort by industry participants to enable interoperability for cross-border payments, as well as serving as a Steering Group Member-at-Large in the National Automated Clearing House Association’s (NACHA) Global Payments Forum.
