MFIC has developed a remittance platform that is customized to the needs of microfinance institutions (MFIs). It is reliable, easy to use and available at a very low cost. By using the platform, MFIs are able to grow their revenue not only from the money transfer business but also from other value-added services linked to remittances, such as mortgages or business loans.  More importantly, the service transforms MFIs into a driving force for local economic development that improves the financial capacity of remittance recipients who generally lack access to finance.

Cross-Border Products

Millions of transnational families have emerged from migration and globalization.  MFIC’s unique business platform enables MFIs to offer their services to immigrants in the U.S. through our Alante Financial Service Centers.  We support MFIs in credit assessments of local borrowers and process the paperwork on their behalf. We also market insurance products, mortgages and other products for the families at home of our customers in the US.
